We are so close to the 2024-25 NHL Season and with so much anticipation to the start of this New NJ Devils season and there is already injury possible news on the horizon for 2 key Players.
Simon Nemec got injured during a Slovakian game and it looked serious and we still have yet to get an update. The news from Slovakian Doctor was encouraging, but since seeing doctors in NJ we have still to hear definitive news.
Last night a picture was circulating around the web that Devils Defenseman Luke Hughes was seen at a Michigan game in a shoulder sling. Im sure well hear more news come out soon, but the Devils may have to start season without 2 key pieces on their blue line.
This makes that Johnathan Kovecevic trade with The Montreal Canadiens all that more genius from Tom Fitzgerald.

I hope Luke Hughes and Simon Nemec are okay.
This is rediculous. Nemec we knew about but what the hell happened to Luke, did he get hurt water skiing? Hopefully it was a known issue that was addressed over the summer and was kept under wraps until now.
Hope Luke Hughes and Nemec are able to play and be healthy from the start this upcoming season. If they are not DeSimone and Hatakka played solid defensively last season and both are physical players. Lets Go Devils!
