Lekkerimäki willander ep 2 are untouchables. Raty I would trade. Top 4 deffence are getting harder and harder to aquire. With that in mind, deffence prospects are more valuable as time goes on.
The problem with that is that now you’re right back to Jim Benning territory. I know everyone wants to take risks because we think we’re close, but this is where a management group can make its biggest mistakes. I agree, they need a top 4 D. But there are 3 prospects who should be off the table. Pettersson could be ready this year. That’s a big, physical defensive defenseman on ELC. Anyone they get will eat up cap and then they’ve probably lost a top prospect. For what? Usually, teams do things like that when they’ve already established themselves, they have a healthy number 1, and they’ve gone on at least one good playoff run already.
You can’t trade away your good prospects all the time because you need players to come up when the guys get older like Miller so you keep the guys you build up your prospect pool and you start bringing in the young guys
Canucks are 2 years away from a total rebuild.
I’m done with this team, Ownership meddling Jim and Alvin putting lipstick on a pig and trying to sell this team as a contender.
Pretenders at best.

the 2 prospects show promise but they haven't been to the dance and who knows??? if they can get a bonafide established top 4 for willander or lekkerimaki they should do it.
