9/7/24 saw the #SMARTTour Modifieds roll into #CarawaySpeedway to remember the victims of the 9/11/01 tragedy and one of their own as they race in the memory of modified and #BowmanGrayStadium legend #75 Robert Jeffreys. The race was sure to be an exciting one as the SMART Tour points battle winds down.
Race Summary: The race saw tour veteran who’s trying to get another win at Caraway #15 Brian Loftin and the always fast #79 Anthony Bello in the Hillbilly Racing car lead the field to green. The race only saw 2 cautions. A debris caution at Lap 25 and the stage break caution at lap 30. The race was dominated by #15 Brian Loftin until lap 68 where he was finally caught by #04 Brandon Ward while battling lap traffic. The 2023 #BowmanGrayStadium Modified Champion proved he could do a lot more than just race around a football field as he would walk away from Caraway your winner of the SMART Tour Robert Jeffreys 99!
