  1. Just imagine if the EFL knew how to market the championship how much money teams throughout the EFL would be able to generate.

    The prem is a dream for a lot of clubs and rightly so but as FFP becomes more and more stringent against newly promoted teams the further the gap will grow.

    Maybe just maybe the premier league should give newly promoted teams a three year grace period so they can actually spend the money, let them have a go and whatever happens happens.

    FFP isn’t meant to stop situations like Portsmouth it’s meant to keep the “big” teams a lot top.

    Looking at you Man City and Man United.

  2. Give Rooney a chance he hasn’t been there 2 minutes and two be fair I like to see any manager keep this group of players up

  3. Sunderland got another couple of young hungry players end of window, they will not slow down this season and by Xmas will take some catching.

  4. Duncan Watmore deserves a mention for the great start he's had. Rolling back the years with some of his best form in a while.
