Jerred Smithson went undrafted and despite this, he would play 606 games over 11 years in the NHL. In Nashville, he would play 497 games, scoring 36 goals and tallying 50 assists. In 2012 he would be dealt to the Florida Panthers for a 6th round pick.
Viktor Stålberg was drafted 161st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2006. He would play 95 games for the Preds, scoring 10 goals and 18 assists.
Matt Carle was drafted 47th overall by the San Jose Sharks in 2003. He would play just 6 games for Nashville, tallying 1 assist.

Mathieu Olivier went undrafted and attended the Nashville Predators Development Camp and Prospects Shocase prior to the 2018 – 2019 season. In his first professional season he would lead the AHL with 9 fights. He would play 48 games for the Preds, scoring 3 goals and 4 assists. He would be traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 4th round pick in 2022 on July 1st, 2022.
