Jamie McLennan on Thatcher Demko’s health, concern level and more
TSN NHL Analyst and Overdrive Host Jamie McLennan joined the guys and talked about his concern level with the Thatcher Demko injury and how he feels about the Canucks goaltending depth.
It might hurt, but we need to let Demko get fully healthy, even if we limp into the play offs as a wild card. That's how important having him for play offs is.
I dont think we have enough faith in silovs who basically has a .900 save% over his nhl carrer in the regular season. In the playoffs vs mcdavid and drisital posting anything above an .800% is really good for a rookie.
I feel like Sid has lost SO MUCH money in his career due to his superstitious beliefs of sticking to the number 87 and the fact that he signed that long ass contract for 10 yrs I think it was ? Back when 8 yrs was not the max amount of years you can sign for one contract.
Oilers fan here, Donny and Dhali, don’t worry about Demko, as an oilers fan I really want Demko 100% in the playoffs, maybe LTIR and give Demko the last 20 games so he’s ready to face the Oilers 😎 … btw awesome series last year… I predict Petey will get 60 points and Millsie with 70 🤓
Unbelievable that THIS class act (Crosby), one of the NHL GOATS, and top 10~15 player in the league STILL, who has PROVEN EVERYTHING, can take a salary like this, while ONE SHOW (or even NO SHOW) "future talents" (sure hope they hit!) are signing for 9, 10, 11, 12 million, and enough people (management, agents, the players, and not enough fans are complaining to stop it from happening) think SOMEHOW they derseve it ?!?!?!? It's pure insanity.
