I have no illusions this season. And I do not dream. At the end of the day, we will see. But I'm not holding my breath.
Young man you are dead on with this organization and I have been saying it for 30 years. I'm a fan since 1962 and since the 80's they have not treated their young players fairly. Instead of using the 1st 40 games of the season to play these young kids and see what they can do they would rather use over aged players and then over pay for players at the deadline and give up draft picks and young players who many times end up good NHL players on another team. My whole life I have waited for a FULL REBUILD in hopes we would get a super star with a top pick. I thought it was going to happen in 2018 after the letter but a year and a half into this so call full rebuild we sign Panarin, resign Kredier and Mika, and there went the full rebuild!
This is gonna one of those seasons our starting roster is gonna be wildly different to our playoff roster
The rangers like to be a veteran team it’s been like this for too long even the messier and lundqvist days they always put older players around them it’s rare for them to build around a young player igor is basically another lundqvist experiment for the front office the rebuild is very rare for them to do even when they have bad seasons they just try to spend money and go get players before they do a complete rebuild and I think that can actually make the rangers better if they learn to sacrifice and build for the future it worked with plenty of nhl teams throughout the decades but will see how this season turns out
well this move just guaranteed us the cup. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

PTO's are signed largely because the NHL has its 8 vets rule in the preseason. It allows teams to play their vets less. If this guy is anything else, it's because he tore it up in preseason.
O,h he is the greatest signing since Tyler Pitlick.
I don't understand why we did not sign Tyler Johnson or Daniel Sprong or even Van Riemsdyke…All these guys have produced at the NHL level and Sprong signed for one year…None of these options would have affected the cap going into next year and provided depth and experience…Time for Drury to go!!
