  1. Kampf seems like the odd one out, so him traded for a pick swap (not major) or someone who will play in the AHL from Columbus maybe?
That plus sending Timmins or Benoit down if they have to.

  2. How is the Skyler Brind'amour thing a good story? It's nepotism at its finest, dude care barely play at the AHL level

  3. You think Joshua can repeat last years performance? I liked him when he was with the Blues, but he couldn't finish when he got an opportunity. Wish they would of given him one more year, especially over a couple of the lugs they brought back…but those guys are gone and the bottom six looks vastly improved.

  4. More bad news on the Canucks front. I do not know if Edler retiring is good news as Canucks, crossed fingers. 🙂 Thank you.

  5. Who recalls the NHL's promise that the helmet and sweater ads were "only temporary", and would only exist, "until fans are allowed back into the arenas". I called BS, at the time…

  6. I feel so sorry for Columbus fans… Canadian teams complain about Bettman being against Canada… Some teams complain about players not wanting to play there… Others that NHL/referee are against them… Unfortunately, it looks like the whole world and beyond is against Columbus… 🙁 every season something bad/unexpected happens to Columbus… I feel so sorry… 🙁

  7. Something I love in the Australian Football League (my other favourite sport) is the Father-Son Rule, which allows preferential recruitment processes for family members of players who played a certain number of games with a club to encourage the sorts of storylines – and associated fan buy-in – we're seeing emerge with Brind'amour and were denied with Iginla in the draft a few months ago. Be interesting to see both how it could be implemented in the NHL and how things would be different for certain teams with it in place (the AFL, for instance, uses the academy system to allow newer clubs preferential access to other recruits to balance out the advantages more old and established teams have under father-son).

  8. Boeser to The Blue Jackets, before Vancouver have to waste the new contract on him! Free up Cap space, free up wingers space (too many wings to make this roster as is), and free up $$ for signing a GOOD D-man, so we can move (OH GOD, WHY did The Canucks re-sign Myers!?😢!?) Myers to 3rd pairing!

  9. With the tragic Gaudreau passing and trading Laine, Robertson seems like he may be good fit in Columbus. I can’t imagine the leafs would much with a trade.

  10. Nashville would be a good trade partner with COL, they are right against the cap. I dunno if they have a player that they would be ok with loosing.

  11. Ranking all fime defenseman for teams would be fun. Kris Letang probably had the best career for Pittsburgh but they've also had Coffey, Murphy, and Zubov at points.
