[DaveHall] Rick Tocchet said he was anxious to see Jonathan Lekkerimäki alongside their top brass. And boy, did he fit in with Elias Pettersson and Jake Debrusk. He finished on 75% of his looks throughout the skate. Easy now, it’s only training camp drills. But he looked good today

Guess we don’t need Demko in net when we can just score on 75% of the chances that line will create!

Pre-season can’t start soon enough, can’t wait to see these guys get a look together

Lekkerimaki was very good at finding the soft spots on the ice during the young stars tourney but he didn’t always get the puck in a good spot or at the right time but his IQ is definitely there. Need to see how he does against NHL defenders to see if he’s still able to find those soft spots on the ice to take advantage of his shot. I still fully expect him to start the season in the A but oh what a story it would be for him to be on the ice for opening night

Its long season, it would be great to get some Lekkerimaki call ups throughout the year.

With both Bluegar and Joshua out I think it’s hard to see Lekk not making the team?, unless they don’t want to put him potentially on a 3rd line role if he can’t figure out a top 6 role swiftyl

Sounds like we’re getting the second coming of Naslund. Nice.

Wait. So is Lekke scoring 50 this year alongside Petey or not

There’s benefit to Leki making the opening day roster in that it sets our max bonus cushion at a larger value for the rest of the season
