The real story behind Crosby’s Obsession 💵 #shorts

  1. I'm not the biggest fan of his but he has the right mentality to help his team out first over making 12 mill a year and I can respect that. Too many players are selfish and their game proves that

  2. He was drafted when I was 8 months old, and now I'm in my 2nd year of college and he's still a top 5 player in the NHL. He's such a legend and an even better guy

  3. It shouldn’t be such a novelty that players are willing to take a little less money in order to win a championship, which after all, is what we all dream about growing up. The only players I would give the pass to are NHLers since they make relatively so little compared to the other big 4 athletes! And still Crosby turned down millions over the years just to win. Granted, he’s still a very rich man but cmon we gotta see more of that in nfl/nba/mlb

  4. The most basic childhood dream is winning a championship at the highest level. The desire for riches comes way later. Stick to your childhood dreams!

  5. Dubas was probably like, "Okay, so you want most of your salary in bonuses…. wait, that's the whole salary? You know you're not a 3rd liner, right? Te-am fi-rst…. what's this gibberish you speak?!? Well, there's a 10.5m signing bonus and a 45 team no trade clause waiting if you change your mind. Why 45? You know Betman. There's no teams in Mexico, Dubai, or Brazil. Everything North, South, East, and West of Canada is on the table!"

  6. Glad somebody finally did a video how amazing of a PERSON Sid actually is. Wearing the same jockstrap his whole career is the most noble thing I've ever heard in the game of hockey.

  7. Every star on every NHL franchise delivers season tickets to season ticket holder's homes… It's an old league tradition going back to the infancy of the league- and is also a tradition in most other major sports in north America and probably around the world…

  8. It's too bad he stands out as such an exception in this new league… with these new fair-weather fans that have no clue how to lace up skates

  9. Imagine making so much money that you’re actually being very generous in only taking 8,700,000 USD a year for 20 years.

  10. Of course, Sid does it first to increase his chances of winning. Nevertheless, he could ask for 6, 8, 9 million. But no, he's asking for 8.7 million. It's no coincidence.

  11. They only pay him 87 dollars a season?! 😮 Hopefully its american dollars and not Canadian at least 😐
