  1. Expansion team should NOT be Atlanta since it’s shown twice that it can’t support a team

  2. Great more expansion, more mediocre hockey with an even smaller chance of your favourite team ever winning a cup, but some billionaires get some extra money!

  3. Here’s a great plan for Quebec City to get a team. Hydro-Quebec buys the team for 1billion+ or whatever then turns around and charges more for the electricity exports and has the US pay for it. The other option is sadly have Ottawa move to Quebec since they can’t get the new arena deal done. Sorry Ottawa but your owner is a dufuss.

  4. I'm all for expansion. The fan arguments against it are pretty illogical. "They're going to water down the product." I am pretty sure most of these same fans are entertained by college hockey. It will still be vastly superior hockey to the college game. They are really just scared that with more teams involved, their team will likely never win the cup. I'd be fine with 50 teams, or 100 teams. It works for college football.

  5. Really wish my hometown of Milwaukee would step up for the NHL. One of the more plug n play expansion cities – certainly outside of Canada anyway.
