The Oilers kicked off the first day of training camp with some roster news, as they have brought in 34 year old forward Mike Hoffman on a PTO.
Hoffman registered 10 goals and 23 assists in 66 GP with the San Jose Sharks last season.

Absurd addition. Hoffman is a one-dimensional player whoโs only use would be on the pp. training camp number excuse is just dumb.
