[Janda] Just told Kiefer Sherwood that the #Canucks signed his former Preds teammate Kevin Lankinen (the players hadn’t heard about it yet). He cracked a big smile & said that the team picked up an excellent goalie & a fun loving guy.
The vibes going into this season continue to be top-tier!
Silovs getting 50+ starts this year in (AHL/NHL) is the right move, he’s still very young. Akira Schmid had a good playoff run with the Devs and struggled mightily in the regular season so they probably didn’t want to have that happen.
