  1. Canucks have the best player development program in the league. Zadorov was a depth defenceman and in 5 months Foote and Gonchar turned him into a top 4 D. Tocchet, Foote, Gonchar, the Sedin twins, Komisarek, Samuelson, Maholtra, they change players.

  2. The Canucks have a good roster and a good coaching staff. I think they make the second round again.

  3. jessie is clueless about tocchet if he thinks sprong is not going to worry about playing d and just cheat up the ice and score goals… lol

  4. “They except to win the cup” is crazy. so many things went right for them last year there will be a small regression this year. Demko not being healthy will take away 5-10 wins. Expect 100-104 points. oilers will be looking for blood in the head to head games bc of what happened last year. If they run into Nashville in the first round again it won’t be looking good. This roster is still quite inexperienced in the playoffs

  5. "only on the canucks can petterson be your second line center"😅 that's not even true in their own division

  6. For SURE they will be going hard after top 4 D before the deadline, BUT they have a few decent pieces on their AHL team that won't look out of place in the lineup. Do you guys know about D-Petey? Elias Pettersson (20yr old, 6'4" 210 lbs) is looking NHL ready and reminds of a young Ohlund or Tanev. Here's hoping for an epic 2nd round vs the Oil.

  7. Another video where Dangle has zero clue what he is talking about. Canucks D is super deep and way better than Toronto ever will have.

  8. Nucks have the best now goalie trio, along with the best forward depth in the league. Hughes going to be even better than last year… They gotta find a way to add a 2nd pair dman and they are set for another crazy year… Edmonton can only ride 2-3 players for so long..

  9. As a canucks Fan I think we are probably gonna finish second in the division and fight with Edmonton for first. However, the one thing you guys didn't talk about enough is the right side of defence. Outside of Hronek, this team is pretty thin. But I would say this team is 1 right-handed defenceman away from being maybe the best team in the league. But everyone in the league is looking for a solid right-handed defenceman. So it's gonna be interesting to see who this team will try and go out to get. I'm optimistic for this season.

  10. I think Steve's assessment of the defensive depth is totally fair. Soucy and Myers staying healthy is pretty important for the team to maintain a solid rotation. I like their forward depth and the mix of players though.

  11. Canucks don't care if they win the division, conference or whatever. Last season taught them that the regular season means nothing. Same with home ice. Job 1 will be to make the playoffs, which they will but won't be a shoe in. The entire right side on D needs work, plus goaltending question marks even with the Lankinen signing.

Job 2 will be to start the playoffs healthy and rested. They know the team peaked early last year. One thing no one is mentioning is special teams. The PK will improve, but they have to find a way to improve the PP. It's good, but with the talent they have, it should be elite.

  12. Kevin Lankinen signing is in the chat. 😂 You don't have to hide your 3rd goalies from waivers anymore. The defensive corps are monsters that will not make you want to play rough with Vancouver. DeBrusk will finally give Pettersson an elite player on his line. The Canucks attention to detail in depth signings was huge. Sprong is a guy who chips in on the 4th line against other 4th liners, who is going to have to work hard to keep out of Tocchet's doghouse, which is a storyline to watch. I definitely like Sherwood playing for the Canucks a lot more than against him.

  13. Its hilarious watching the Media this year on the nucks, they are over correcting because they were all wrong last year.
The nucks over achieved and they got worse, MUCH worse this year, the season literally depends on Demko, and even with him they will be fighting for 3rd in the pacific. Just the fact that Sprong is a top 6 on the nucks when hed be on the AHL roster on any contender shows how bad the media dead wrong lol

  14. Canucks should be a solid wildcard bet.

Overrated AF last year beating up and collecting points from 4 of the bottom 10 teams in the league in Pacific division. ( sharks , Ducks , flames , Kraken)

Edmonton’s slow start and Vegas limping all year.

Wouldn’t be surprised 😮 if they missed playoffs

    4 top 6 forwards 😵
    2 top 4 D 👏
    6 actual bottom 6 FWD’s 👍
    6 bottom pair D 🤣

Goaltending is up in the air, Demko health, Silovs unproven over a full NHL season, scouts will have a book on him.

    Too many ifs for me.

Good coach yes, Hughes is great even though his D partner isn’t the right guy, needs an Eckholm.

Nashville should have beaten them in first round if only they had more scoring.

Canucks played 5 games vs Edmonton no showed games 6+7

    Can’t stand this team

  15. Outside of Demko’s health, my biggest concern is how well can Old man Myers hold up through regular season. Although we know 100% Allvin and JR will add as they always do

  16. After watching them in Penticton the Canucks have a bunch of forwards, their defense is huge and they can all move. They have a good manager. Smart not to re sign Lindholm and Zadorov for big cash while bringing in like 7 or 8 guys. Tochett is also a really good coach and get the team playing a good system. I wish Toronto had management and coaches like Vancouver lol.

  17. Canucks with another great signing 1 year $875,000 for Lankinen. Definitely gonna help till Demko is back. It's good to hear he's making great progress healing!!!

  18. I wouldn't be surprised if Danton Heinen sneaks into the top 6. He's a dark horse. Good 2 way player with speed who has scored 16-18 3 times in his career as a bottom 6 guy. If he fits into Tocchet's system, he could see more ice time. At the very least, he's depth scoring that you need.
