  1. I don’t think Jarmo doesn’t have the stomach, I just think it’s more Jarmo doesn’t have the cap for what Andy wants to make

  2. You think maybe Jarmo sends him over to Montreal or Calgary for picks?
I have heard people speculating of Gaudreau/Anderson 1:1 but to me thats just asinine. Same with anyone claiming of a Domi/Anderson trade. Curious of your thoughts.

  3. I'm not sure who is coming or going, but I don't like the idea of trading Anderson when he's at a low point in his trade value. One player I'd like to see them pursue in free agency is Mike Hoffman, late of the Florida Panthers. Hoffman consistently averages about 60 points and 30 goals a year and would definitely help beef up the center position where the Jackets have their greatest weakness. A potential acquisition on the trade market would be Ryan Nugent – Hopkins of Edmonton. RNH would definitely add more depth in Columbus. He averages about 60 points and 22 goals a year and I think he could improve on those numbers, especially if he were moved up from the third line. If they do swing a trade with Edmonton, one player I'd also like coming back our way would be Caleb Jones, the younger brother of Seth Jones. Seth is two years away from becoming an UFA. Having his younger brother around might help entice Seth to remain in Columbus. especially if he's on the fence trying to decide if he wants to stay. If after 6 and one-half years in Columbus, Jones doesn't feel like he is a part of the fabric of the community and decides to leave, that would be a major blow to the Blue Jackets.

  4. Trade Anderson to Ottawa for picks. Sign Hoffman in the offseason to provide goal scoring. Draft some defenseman in the draft. Maybe look to dump a contract like Riley Nash to give some extra flexibility.
