Kris Knoblauch announced Darnell Nurse will not play for the first couple preseason games this year, leading to some worry from the ON staff.
With Cody Ceci and Philip Broberg leaving in the summer, Nurse will need to find a new partner this season.

Sunk-cost fallacy. If someone argues that Nurse needs to play a ton of minutes because of his high cap hit, would they also argue that Bouchard needs his minutes cut back because of his low cap hit? Nurse’s contract was a gamble that didn’t pay off. Roll with the punches and get the best out of him.
Nurse is a seventh defenseman against good teams. A number one against horrible teams.
