I’m sure Hutson won’t mind having guys like Caufield, Laine, Suzuki, and eventually Demidov to pass to on the powerplay. Chemistry like what he made with Celebrini will be made again and again. I’m so excited.

I think people are going to be upset when Hutson doesn’t get much or any PP1 time. Like it or not there’s no way Matheson isn’t on the 1st unit after being top 10 in powerplay points among defensemen .

A tad worried with the massive hype headed toward Hutson. He’s a great prospect, but I don’t want anyone to get their hopes up for a 40-50+ point season. Moving to the NHL over a full season is an adjustment. Its just a different level. Since 1990, only 20 rookie defenseman have hit the 40 point mark. Is it possible for him to get there? Absolutely. Likely? No. I realize everyone is having fun with the projections for the players, and I am too, I’m just worried the fanbase turns on him, and I don’t want that.
