Black has to be one of the largest goalies I have ever seen. Other than 6,8” and 240 lbs I know next to nothing about him. I’m curious about him beyond the bio. Is he pushing for prime time or could he use a year or two more developing? I feel great with Bob and Knight, just curious of Black.

While Black is a good prospect, to quote SAS, he’s “two years away from being two years away”.
He’ll probably be in Charlotte this upcoming year, or even down in the ECHL if they really want to get him used to starter minutes.
He’s got a massive frame that takes up a lot of the net, but it’s about making those slight changes from the NCAA to the pros which will determine how he develops. He got lit up in his only game with Charlotte last year, so he’ll probably need some time there.
