Home team usually puts in a few of their most well known players out there for the fans. But there’s no requirement for these players to play hard and try. Which often means the AHL-heavier team with a bunch of try-hards trying to make the roster and battling hard, will come out on top.
But these defensive breakdowns can’t be attributed to being out battled. So wtf are they doing?
