I love the way Puljujarvi plays. Skates hard, runs over anyone in his way, and puts the puck in the net. I thought he looked a lot faster than last season too, hopefully his injuries are behind him.
Penguins with maybe as many as 8 NHL players, none of the big names. Sabres with pretty much a full NHL roster. Who cares about the result? Some players looked bad, some disappeared and Puljujärvi is going to get a roster spot.
I'm glad that Buffalo decided to go with their "full" NHL roster. I think it's a good test to see where the Pens young guys are in their development. Hopefully, the guys learn from it and are able to improve their selves…"I need to get stronger", "I need to work on my skating and footwork", "I need to improve my shot".
