Guy Gaudreau, father of Matty and Johnny Gaudreau, invited to Philadelphia Flyers training camp

The Flyers were on the ice on Monday morning preparing for their game in Montreal against the Canadiens, but the big story was that Guy Gaudreau, father to Johnny and Matty Gaudreau, was on the ice as a Flyers coach for practice. Guy, of course, is still grieving the tragic passings of Johnny and Matty, and Flyers head coach John Tortorella extended an invite to Guy to participate in camp.

PHLY Sports’ Charlie O’Connor spoke with Tortorella and the players regarding Guy’s presence on the ice and what it hopefully meant to him.
