And Leafs fans would like if you showed up in the Playoffs.
I have a feeling, when all is said and done, Mitch Marner will retire as a Toronto Maple Leaf.
But the team doesn't need him 😅. At some point they need to look at how many high-paid offensive forwards they're rocking with for these last 5 years and think "maybe we need some defense and tendies that aren't past their prime or basically rookies"
I feel good about marner staying but I get annoyed by him sometimes and hope he leaves but I want him to stay
If he wants 11 million to stay…we could get three good 4 million dollar players for one marner
Mitch will stay, he'll produce in his contract year. The discussion will be back after next june. its rinse and repeat. I think if berube can push him past the playoff struggles then he will be a long time leaf

You need to show it on playoffs also, it's not enough to do it in a regular season where there is literally no contact on star players.
If Marner wants to be a Leaf he can't expect $11 million a year; if so Leafs will have no balance on the team.
Kid only cares about making an obscene amount of money, taking a quarter of the salary cap. He’s only focused on his own personal stats, he’s softer than baby sh*t, and once Toronto makes the playoffs just like their soft captain, he disappears. Get this dink outta here. Not worth the money if this team really wants a cup.

If Toronto was serious about winning in the playoffs instead of not offending the players and the corporate suits….. they would have changed things up in 2021. They didnt do that. Expect no playoff success from this management. Because they dont make the winning decisions.
