  1. Il mio ragazzo ha cercato di ricreare una scena di un film d'amore in cui limonano sotto la pioggia. Alla fine siamo scivolati sul marciapiede bagnato e abbiamo riso in modo istericošŸ’

  2. Flames fans please stop coping and admit that this is a full rebuild. You guys are going to be a bottom feeder this season and for the next several seasons.

  3. Iā€™d rather be a the bottom retooling than at the top and losing in the first round with the same core 4 every year. Leafs fans are pathetic losers with small dingdongs šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  4. The wild thing with the Flames. They could be either one of the worst teams or in a playoff spot. This team has a lot of 2014 cardiac kid vibes.

  5. What sucks about the Flames is that most pieces that could improve ā€¦ if they improve, would get traded as soon as possible.

Huberdeau on a 80-90+ pts pace gone, Kadri still going 70 pts pace gone, if Kuz or Mantha are doing well gone.

Outside of the young players there is nothing safe.

  6. Im worried Calgary is going to over perform and get a wild card spot. Especially after watching the preseason games. There seems to be some fight there. I'd rather 1 more bad year for good picks.

  7. Guys, just focus on the Leafs if youā€™re not going to bother paying much attention to covering other teams.

Itā€™s pretty clear their entire research was looking at the standings and a couple headlines.

  8. There is a huge difference between re-building and tanking. Conroy and his staff know this a rebuild, they pulled off the bandaid and traded Toffoli, Zadorov, Lindholm, Hanifin, Tanev, Markstrom, Mangipane. There is only so much of the roster that can be turned over, they know they are better off insulating Zary, Coronato, Pospsil, Wolf, and eventually Parekh with guys like Backlund, Coleman, Kadri and Weegar.

  9. Hey guys, stop pretending like you care to do any research about any teams out west. We know you are leafs or die but come on. The average bar/pub sports convo has more knowledge and depth on the flames than the 3 of you put together.

  10. Calgary will not be as bad as every one expects, they will be better than last year because they now have players who want to be here

  11. Flames need the following to end up in the playoffs this year
    1. Huberdeau finds his 80+ points self – I still believe.
    2. Powerplay needs to find average level success (see #1) – Can't get any worse than last year
    3. The bottom 4 D finds a trustworthy #3 and #4 to fill out the second pair.
    3. The kids need to take a step further (the bigger the step, the better) – Lots of names that can step up. Coronato, Zary, Pospisil, Pelltier, Klapka, Poirier
    4. One of our goalies proves they're better than the NHL starter average.

A lot to ask for, but entirely possible.
There is also the possibility that Conroy trades pieces during the season to ensure a bottom 10 finish so that they don't lose their lower-than-Florida 1st rounder

  12. I think you smash the over on this. Wolf played better than Markstrom down the stretch and the boys played like crap until the kids came up. Kids are up and everyone is energized, kuzmenko scored at a 40 goal pace since coming over and wolf has been a rock star every level heā€™s ever been. I want a tear down rebuild but they are too good and I think they get 4th in the division and 7th in the conference.

  13. Its funny how Adam predicted the flames correctly with them 5th in the division last year but got them making the playoff wrong. Jesse picked them 6th in the division, while Steve originally had them 5th but bumb them up to 3rd last year believing 22-23 was an off year
