  1. I hope the entire second line of Dach, Laine and Newhook can stay healthy for the entire season. If so it should be fun to watch the chemistry grow.

  2. John listen, Barkov is from Finland, his dad is Russian, if Barkov would go to Russia anytime soon it would not be for hockey practice, but rather carrying a assault rifle trying to get some against Russian army. Finnish and Russian border has been closed for a long time now and there is no diplomatic contact between 2 countries perhaps some back channel stuff still exist i don't know.

  3. Respect where Respect is due

Barkov won the Selke and was huge reason why Florida won Stanley Cup

Bergeron was the best 2 way C for a decade

    It’s Barkov’s mantle to lose

Suzuki is a Bergeron, Barkov hybrid with a flash of Datsuyk

I love that Kirby was in coaches room last season and spent summer studying tape on Barkov…

Suzuki / Dach playing strong 2 way C in top 6 on top of producing offense can only be a good thing for this team

  4. John Scott has a known bias against Montreal and kept trying to take shots at Montreal trying to get Dach to do it too lol so cringe. He asks edgy questions that just come off as awkward and disrespectful. Plus why the hate on him studying Barkov and picking Barkov forthe most impressive player….Barkov is arguably the best player in the league right now come the f on hes at least top 5

  5. If Barkov isn't a top 5 player in the league, then I don't know shit about hockey. Really happy Dach's been studying him

  6. "That charity golf thing"

You should know that's almost blasphemy to say.

That's the Habs' groundhog day every season, basically.

Not some random golf charity thing.
