A few games won't hurt, let the kid play with the Flyers, if he stinks and can't keep up, send him back down.
This isn't rocket science.
Obviously Torts sees something in Luchanko that's worth the small risk.
Send him down. There is ZERO reason to rush the kid.

Pushing the “hype” to cover for the 2 prospects that were bungled
For every kid that shouldn't have made the NHL 1st yr I can name one that was just fine, had a good or great career
This shouldn't even be a consideration for so MANY reasons!!! And even if he belongs, his only spot is 3-C so do they have the balls to get rid of someone like Laughton, Poehling or Cates !?!? This is not the time and they better not make this ANOTHER disgruntled top prospect situation and that is all I'm saying!!! And WTF is wrong with having the 9 games at the end of the year as opposed to the beginning!!!
He will not be on the NHL roster, but keeping him around to the end will be a huge confidence boost going back to junior. They will give him first line minutes in juniors over 3rd line minutes in the NHL. I would be shocked if he somehow ended up on the roster.
Laughton should have been traded last year….Cates is a 4th liner at best…..Remember last years PP…I am tired of that…..Let the kid play!!!!!
What happens if Couturier ends up back in Torts doghouse….there is a good chance that happens again…..you can kiss the season goodbye….keep the kid here….we need a real Center in the worst way!

Why the hell is a lady who thinks an 18 year old is impervious from being ruined by being called up early, on a show like this? Tell me youre clueless without telling me – what an f'n joke she is. She's borderline unwatchable on this.
Give him at least 9 games to see where hes at against NHL talent. Hes the perfect type of player for how the Flyers play. One of the reasons why Coots got benched last year was bcuz he couldnt keep up with the pace Torts wants them playing at. Trust me Jett will never have that issue. I do hope Coots gets back to his old self before his injuries but in an ideal world he should be a 3c giving his skills defensively.
