    With the hurricane coming it is hard to bet on anything in the south east of the country. I hope all in Tampa stay safe, I went to USF and lived there for a long time. I got the following during the week. Yes some of the lines have moved but as Kelly said CLV never seems to work out anyways.

    Oregon -24
    They really seemed to hit their stride in the second half vs Oregon St. Off a bye they head UCLA, who just does not have much of a home field advantage. There will be plenty of Oregon fans in the stands. UCLA has scored a total of 43 points in 3 games. This feels like a 45 to 13 type game to me.

    Eastern Michigan -14
    This is a bet against Kent St more than a love for EM. They have both played a common opponent in the powerhouse that is St Francis (PA). EM just beat them 36-0 and only allowed 154 yards of offense. Kent lost to them 23-17 and allowed 400 yards of offense. Kent just got run over by Tennessee and Penn St and is beat up. They are at home but there might be 10,000 fans there.

    New Mexico -8
    New Mexico is bad on defense but how good do you have to be to go up against NMST's awful offense. NMST just had 152 yards of offense against Sam Houston and 139 yards offense against Fresno. New Mexico lost to Fresno as well but had 485 yards of offense. They lost the turnover battle 3 to 0. They also put up 448 yards at Auburn. If they do not lose the turnover battle by a big margin, they should score enough to outpace them by double digits.

    UCONN -5
    UB beats N Illinois in OT and I am still not sure how. They had 186 yards of offense and 9 first downs. They put up 34 on UMass but only had 314 yards of offense against their awful defense. They had a defensive TD and a 20 yard TD drive off a bad punt. After a tough lose at Duke, UCONN just beat FAU 48 -14 and put 542 yards of offense, most of it on the ground. I see a double digit win here.

    Illinois +18.5
    The last couple of years you could count on Penn St to cover every game but Michigan and Ohio St. It was interesting to see Bowling Green give them a game. Of course, they just gave Texas A&M a game as well but Penn St in a dog fight with a MAC team is a new thing. Last year Penn St beat Illinois 30-13 but only had 30 more yards of offense. The Illini had 5 TOs and Penn ST had 0. Bad game for Altmyer who had 4 picks. So far this year he has 10 TDs and 0 picks and is completing 71.4 percent of his passes. I might be wrong but I think the Illini give them a game.

    I used TB, HOU, and NYJ. This week I'm eyeing CHI cuz Rams are broken, or maybe KC cuz Bolts are broken, or maybe SF but they're so banged up themselves. ARI would be good if the Fucks didn't look so good last week.
