Do you remember McBaby highsticking Hughes, cut him & never got a penalty. In fact, the referee had to take Hughes off his shift because he was bleeding all over the ice. It was definitely intentional. Soucy's highstick was revenge & Hughes cut was because He's our Captain & the best player on the ice.
Cause he knows unless it’s blatantly obvious he’s gonna get the benefit of the doubt from the refs. NHL loves to protect there stars and mcdavid gets a lot of slack cause he’s the “best player in the game”
