Alexei Kolosov arrives at Philadelphia Flyers training camp | PHLY Flyers Podcast

The saga is over… or is it? Alexei Kolosov did indeed make his first appearance at Philadelphia Flyers training camp, and PHLY Sports’ Charlie O’Connor was there to see it. Yesterday, Kolosov’s agent made it clear that the Belarusian goalie was on his way to the Philadelphia area, and today, he hit the ice for the first time, amidst a new set of rumors regarding his future with the organization.

Also, John Tortorella broke down his view of Matvei Michkov midway through camp, and spoke on the chances of Jett Luchanko making the roster, after his just-OK showing Thursday night vs. the Isles.

  1. I don't blame Kolosov for not wanting to move to America, you'd have to pay me a lot of money to do that. However, he DID sign a contract…. So………..

  2. Good reporting! If you had a choice, should they keep Jett for 9 games or send him back to Junior to get ready to develop a more rounded game offensively?

  3. 👍 I think just give him the 9 cause ge’s earned but let him know your sending him back to work on those hands

  4. I love it how people want this kid to “pop” every game to justify he belongs in the league while veteran NHL players aren’t popping in the preseason either. He’s not Michkov, he’s not projected to be a superstar. And just bc he didn’t have his best game doesn’t mean they should automatically send him down. The expectations are kind of absurd.
