Question is, does Jett make us a better team… RIGHT NOW? I would say NO, the Flyers have 2 to 3 centers who are proven centers who we know will have no problem producing for 82 games. We must remember Jett is 18…18, he will definitely be able to fine tune his offensive game in the O. Are the Flyers gonna win a cup this year, I'd say no and probably not next year either. So let him go back to the O and fine tune his game and come back next year and push harder for the cup. Also he can come to the big club when the O season is over. He still hasn't proven it yet.

That gambler dude sounds like he has an agenda. Like why would you have to come to the states to cancel a contract . if he didnt want to play here he would just stay in Russia, its a different country and a hostile one at that. He probably did get home sick but I heard some his fellow Russians have told him to not burn that bridge. How I would take all this is its probably some where in the middle.
Cream rises to the top arguments are infuriating. I want to throw Bill into the deep end of the pool sometimes. The same people who blamed the org for ruining all the prospects for years. Also around league the decades of evidence saying that not rushing was the best move. A few outliers here and there doesn’t change it

I think I've ultimately ended up somewhere in the middle with Luchenko, I think the best thing to do is give him the 9 games before sending him back down.
What's the worst that can happen? We lose 9 straight games to start the season in a year with a deep draft AND we have 3 1sts and 3 2nds oh no! 😁
If he can't hang at the NHL level or would be better off at the minors/OHL for another year, let him play & show the coaches what he's got, but more importantly what he doesn't. They give him a talking list of what he needs to work on this season in Lehigh Valley to have a bigger/better chance next season.
Can’t miss talent qbs figure it out. But the past few years should show throwing guys out there at qb is not a good play. Guys the last few years who got to figure it out later. Geno smith, Sam Darnold, baker mayfield… developing guys works for people who aren’t can’t miss talents. If Jett plays above and beyond the rest of the preseason sure give him a run. But if he looks meh go develop in the CHL
