I have a feeling Mailloux will take Barron's spot on the third line with Struble as the 7th D.
I see Barron starting in the nhl because he will get claimed on waivers. Plus, hopefully he plays okay to increase his trade value. I don’t like struble playing on his off side tho.
Hopefully Hutson will see some reps on the first pp.

Mike Matheson wasnt a top pp guy before MTL time for him to come back down to earth.
I totally get having Dach on pp1.
It makes more sense because he’s still developing and still hasn’t reached his full potential.

2nd powerplay only plays like 30 seconds. It’s stupid. I don’t know why everyone has to agree with every decision the Canadiens make.
Great podcast as always Josh & Jesse. Demidov driving towards the net to score was impressive, shows he is not a perimeter player. He has made the transition from the MHL to KHL seamlessly so will hopefully do same at NHL level.
Pleased to see for now Laine and Hutson on the 2nd PP unit. They need time to assimilate with the team so important they are integrated slowly. When the regular season starts things will obviously change so until then it is important to get their reps.

The bottom 6 can still use some work, if we could pick up a 50 goal veteran, the rebuild would pretty much be done, especially if Dobes is going to be playing like he has!! Also a veteran D wouldnt hurt. With these lines, we could have five 20 goal scorers, maybe more! That's crazy, it's probably been a couple decades since last time we had 5 twenty goal scorers. Things are lookin up!!
It's preseason, by the time regular season starts, the pp lines could be totally different, and probably will be different.
