I didn't know you were so in love with Slavkofsky
Ironically, Slavkofsky both benefits and is a victim of the the 2022 draft year. To the fans, he's never going to "feel" like a 1st overall pick because he'll never be a super star. However, he was also picked 1st overall because that draft class didn't have any prospected super stars to begin with. Had he been drafted the same year as Connor Bedard, there's no way he would have gone 1st overall. Consequently, no one would have batted an eye at his relatively low numbers compared to other 1st overall picks.
We dont hate you!
Keep up the good videos buddy!
Well, he's for sure better than Shane Wright so far.
I disagree with your first opinion on this and don't beleive you defended your initial take. When you said Slaf was not deserving of the 1st round pick it sounded like you meant he will never be the best of his draft class. We still don’t know what the future hold yet but i think he have great chance to become it
Dude was nearly a ppg from mid-December on at NINETEEN. And I can easily say he should've had 60pts even with the "poor" start (which is an overstatement) considering how many prime chances he generated for guys like Anderson who couldn't score to save his life. So this humming and hawing around the 60pt comments is nothing less than weasel words trying to justify your comments, IMO. I'll be back here to shove it right back into your face Bruins fan.
we dont hate u bro keep griding
I saw ur video, and i didn't get trigger, lol im a habs fan
Yikes 😅 I knew I shouldn’t have clicked on this video
Well… No, this is a hockey podcast… Better to just say you f…,'d up.
Excuses don't fly in the hockey world.. there will be a next time..do better when you get there
Slafkovsky was undoubtedly the best player of his draft class. While the 2022 NHL Draft wasn’t particularly deep, the Canadiens made the right choice. His ceiling remains a mystery, but next season will reveal a lot about his potential. I'll be watching.
Slafkovsky took off in the second half of last year and was scoring at a one point per game pace at 19 years old. If this continues next year assuming he is with Suzuki and Caufield and/or Laine or Dach. It does not take a genius to see 70 to 100 points. That’s why Kent Hughes and Jeff Gordon are the general managers and you are in your mom’s basement putting out garbage for content.
If you watched Slafkovsky when he started his career, the team was not putting him on offensive assignments. It was only in the second half of last season that Slafkovsky was playing more offensively. I feel Slafzilla has a lot more to come on the offensive side of the puck. He just needs to hang around wifi a bit more.
anti-slafite
Sorry. "He'll probably never justify the 1st overall selection." is fundamentally an awful take. Yes, other recent 1st overalls (Bedard) will likely have a bigger impact. But I have zero doubt that if 32 GMs could magically select one guy from the 2022 draft, 32 of them would take Slaf.
So right back at you – how can you say he will not justify veing 1st overall, but then you defend your assumption made based on 2 years with stating "we need more time, some of these players might become a superstar in the future". You're a moron trying to get traffic on being controversial. Juraj is by far the best players from 22 to have gone 1st and he will one day just laugh at haters like you. You apply 1 "logic" onto him, but then you apply different logic on all other draft 22 guys, that is what a hater would do.
Slafkovsky will prove his worth in the playoffs who cares about the regular season. Unless your Austin Matthew's. Montreal will win perhaps many Stanley Cups with Slafkovsky and company there .2026-2036 a return to the Glory years in Montreal.
Are you a Laughs fan? LOL
Zzzz "Let me give you an explanation",,, LOL
As a habs fan, I can’t hate this guy whatsoever cause he exposed tf out of that POS Kinglyme & shutdown MHG 🔥🔥🔥
Montreal fans are very sensitive
I love Slaf, I think Cutter Gauthier may end up being the most impactful in that draft though, it will be close. Montreal seems to be developing Slaf the right way, bringing in even more size with Laine…
if hes the best player in his draft why wouldnt he live up to his first overall status?
everything youve said so far has been fucking stupid. 1:55
