Devin Shore saved himself from imminent head contact by Matt Dumba by pulling his head up and out of the way at the last moment. For Dumba’s part he did keep his arm low and didn’t reach out, but he did rise up and his shoulder went up as well. If Shore hadn’t pulled his head out of the way, would this still be clean?

I would not call this entirely clean since Dumba jumped before contact was made and his feet clearly left the ice.

Are we trying to make the game a no contact sport now.? Clean hit and smart play by Shore.
