JT is missing from that lineup.. Cowan, Greb and Murray will be sent down. Rafia and Benoit are competing but Rafai will get sent down. Timmins and Lilly are competing and from my eyes, Timmins looks better. But those two will be the 6-7 D. Holmberg will be the 13th forward when JT is back. Jarnkrok is the odd man out. And will get dealt once healthy.
Tavares is no longer capable of being an effective 2C. He's perfect for 3C duties if his wingers are fast.
Nylander would have made a perfect 2C but his defensive deficiencies aren't going to let it happen
Marner was a C in London. Hes got all the tools except size. Have him center the 2nd line with Mcmann and Nylander
Knies-Matthews-Domi 1st
Mcmann-Marner-Willy 2nd
Robertson-Tavares-Jarnkrok 3rd
Lorentz-Kampf-Holmerg 4th
I dont know if Patches makes this team as a regular.
Id rather play Mcmann in the top 6 over Patches, Lorentz and Holmberg bring more to the 4th line than Patches, Cant have 2 extremely slow guys on the 3rd line either

I don't understand why Domi isn't playing on the Matthews line…they had some magic happening. I mean, if you're looking for a guy to replace Hyman and/or Bunting, Domi is surely it in my books. Besides, guys might be less likely to mess with Matthews if Domi is on the ice. Nothing wrong with Knies, I just think he'd make more sense on another line.
We all know Willy at center isn't going to work. He scored 40 on the wing, why change?
I had not really thought of Timmins as challenging Liljegren for a spot, but he's looked good in preseason. Just needs to remain healthy.
