  1. Maybe this is the Russian coaching way. Maybe others get quickly benched as well. Maybe they want to keep his head small. Do we know?

  2. I saw this coming….it was way too good for habs fans and just like that it's snatched away….the radio gang in Montreal tsn690 were saying let's not get ahead of ourselves and the curse continues…as a flyers fan born and raised in mtl…sucks for the city big time

  3. Always darkest before the dawn folks. We have one of the deepest stables in the league if not the best. This is an unfortunate setback for a good player. I believe that Laine being in Mtl will be best for him personally. We have great Drs and a culture that will help him deal with his psyche as well as his physical needs. All is well. Bring on the season and should he make his team, keep Pare in mind for he has not been appropriately punished as of yet. Go Habs Go!!!!!

  4. Move Roy up to the 2nd line, Slot Kapanen in with Dvorak to mentor him on face offs and just sharing NHL experience until the trade deadline. No worries on tech issues we all get them. We all know that the Habs are not going all in until Demidov is in his 2nd or 3rd season and all our young prospects like Mailloux, Reinbacher, Kapanen, Beck, Hage etc. have a season or 2 experience as well. As for the Habs injury curse, it is not a curse it is a foregone conclusion. Why? Simple, they are "The Montreal Canadians" the winningest team in NHL history and every player in the NHL wants to "beat the Habs" and plays just a little harder unfortunately. I hope the guys are telling Laine "You get skating by April, and we will make sure you have playoff games to come back to. GO HABS GO!

  5. The way it looked if it ends up being 4-6 months that's not actually horrendous. I thought he was definitely gone for the year.

  6. When Bedard and Roy played in the world junior Bedard got the winning goal Roy got the assist on that goal just saying
    don't sell him short
