  1. New YouTube video… comment your thoughts on this Swayman situation… also I’ll drop another video this week

  2. The reason why they traded ullmark to give swayman leverage was a show of good faith i believe. They did that to show that they want swayman to be the number one guy and that they would work with him to get the deal done. I think the bruins fron office is completely fed up with Gross because hes probably not being honest with swayman about the offers coming in

  3. They shouldn't have gotten rid of Ullmark until Swayman was signed. Everyone is blaming Sweeney, but he's just Neelys puppet. Cam approved that trade, now look where they are! They should just give him a bridge contract, then revisit after Sway proves he's that good consistently.

  4. In a world where Dylan Guenther is given over $7M AAV for 8 years, where Seth Jarvis is given $7.4M over 8 years, where Brock Faber is given 8.5M over 8 years, where Travis Konecny is given 8.75M over 8 years, is it a stretch for Swayman to be looking for his own contract given the merits of his performance so far? When young forwards and D are given huge money with term with the expectation that they'll eventually overperform their salary at some point in the contract, why would a young goalie not be looking for the same?

  5. Fucking bruins cooked leafs would’ve shit on them in the playoffs had it not have been for sway Jarny kampf 5 round pick and swayman bobble head for swayman

  6. Swayman and his agent are overplaying their hand but Neely NEVER shouldve said that. But hey were sitting back with Ullmark and the Bruins potentially starting swiss cheese Korpi

  7. I’m a bruins fan and I have no prob with cam saying it. I guarantee Neely isn’t lying. Why lie you know if you lie it’s over this agent is the same agent that held Willy out and gudreau. 8×8 is more then he’s worth

  8. You should NEVER take a top young player to arbitration…NEVER. The arb hearing is ALWAYS long-term toxic to the player. Swayman has publicly referred to his arb hearing. Sure the Bruins saved a half million or so but at what cost? Now we see.

  9. First, this rift started a year ago with arbitration. Let's not kid ourselves.. second. Jeremy is good.. but not top player at the position good. His resume is nice, but very short. No Cups, No Vezina's.. no Deep playoff run where he carried the team… Third.. He's an RFA.. Sign a bridge deal and wait for your UFA years then shoot the moon. Lastly: if this rift is as bad as some believe… first.. I don't think Boston will get him signed.. and Second, I don't see any other teams stepping up to make an offer for him. Who would be willing to pay in prospects then drop a 10M contract on him (not to mention CAP SPACE). He's got 2-3 more years of RFA before he can get to UFA. I'm not going to deny, I'm a nasty negotiater… I'd be on the phone to the agent.. drop an offer and tell him.. don't bother calling until he's ready to sign.. Oh, and BTW: we're willing to wait for 2 years and the offer goes down after 12/1. Basically, my way or the penalty box. Yeah, he's an RFA and can get an offersheet… but at the numbers Boston is hinting… they'll match… at the ones we're assuming from Swayman.. I don't see any offers coming with that kind of compensation package going back.. worse yet, If Joonas starts well, Jeremy would find himself in the doghouse and the bench upon arrival.

  10. I think both Ullmark and Swayman are good goalies, BUT they've undeniably benefitted from Boston's system and from sharing the load with each other. A fair price for Swayman is probably in the top 8-12 range.

  11. Say whatever you want about the agent, but if it's actually true that no such offer was made during negotiation, this would be… I mean, wow. The wording of his statement makes his claim very suspicious though; strong smell of bad of faith/fallacy.

But anyway, in general, as soon as the public is used as leverage during a closed door negotiation, imho the rule of thumb is to disregard statements from both sides; it's unreliable as hell for obvious reason.
