If the bruins lose game 7, it’s time to blow it up. How many times are they going to implode in the postseason with this group?? They’re a team primarily comprised of regular season players. This group just doesn’t have it
It's both the players and the coach. It's obvious he can't control the team and the players see it in his personality. They take advantage of it. That is why Cassidy has a Cup and Montgomery doesn't.
The Bruins need a retooling from top to bottom if they lose this series. I would even consider moving Pasta to free up cap space for some picks, and maybe even tank a season like Pittsburgh and the Oilers did. 😂, but seriously something needs to change
not sure charlie is the issue… they cant win a face off with 2 center man or move the puck thru th neutral zone. they have no leadership or gritty guys
As a 58 yr old leaf fan….i am veey surprised in the last 2 games..with no Matthews. ..who would of thought the team plays better without Matthews. Is it the Bruins are playing less or the leafs are playing more. Goalies are deffinately not to blame with either team. This year ..there is no Kreichi , no Bergeron ,and no Matthews
They talk about this past game, what about the GW in OT? McAvoy's been an issue for years. He's not elite offensively, only above average. And he's not your go to guy for defense. He sucks up 9 million of your cap. And is he really a leader? Or just given the role like he was given the PP, even though Grzelyk was actually better at it at the time. Just hope the B's figure it out before the league does. Scary that the talking heads are FINALLY noticing.
Playing an injured goalie that is playing like shit, for three games in a row, while the best second goalie in the entire league sits on the bench until game 7 when we are in dire straights? He blamed Pasta – yet the Leafs were without Matthews on the ice at all, that's a foolish crock of bullshit out of Monty. Does this muppet know anything about coaching or no? wtf
I don’t understand why it takes so long for people to understand what players are!! Bergeron. Knew from day 1 Marchand. Knew from day 1 Pasta. Knew from day 1 Lindholm? Who the hell was he???? You could have had 2 good players!! Zacha??? 3rd 4th line center Coyle. 3rd 4th line center Charlie! Decent player but look around the league!! Panthers. Montador?? Who would you rather have??? Do that experiment throughout the league
This is how we lost the last game and we’re eliminated last year… the goals from Verhaige and Nylander…It’s the same shot and scenario. Block the puck or get the fuck out of the way!!!!
Simple way to win here is there needs to be two major adjustments on defense: D1 needs to get up on him and block that shot while the second pushes the screen away from the goalies view so he has a chance to save it.
Other team players have too much space to fire and their guy in front of the net is literally camping out without any pushback.
Puck management wise we need to make exits more simple and chip the puck out of the d zone fast enough to avoid the forcheck plus have a couple forwards already in the neutral zone to battle for the puck thus cause odd man rushes the other way.
Offensively, dammit, get our forwards to actually play physical and attack everything on our own forcheck, and get at least three times as many pucks to the net as the last game then we are looking good.
Stop thinking so much just play aggressive and get pucks netward.
Pasta looks hurt. If they play reserved Bruins are done. Overall concern should be high Maple leafs not that good 😂😂😂
THE ENTIRE DEFENSE (minus Lohri and Carlo) deserve some blame!!! If i see one more defenseman pass up a one timer from the point and try to make a cute pass or just dump it down the boards and give it away.. Im gonna lose my mind!!!
McAvoy has had some brutal goals deflect in off of him like the one in game 7 last year with 50 seconds left up one. Then had one go off him in game 6 that he could have blocked with 50 seconds left in second period. Sometimes just wrong place wrong time
