Does Xhekaj hit on Stutzle prove NHL has a major problem?

Montreal’s Arber Xhekaj hit Ottawa’s Tim Stutzle in the head Tuesday night, forcing the Sens’ star out of the game. Has the league been handling situations like Xhekaj’s hit correctly? Does the league need to cut down the number of preseason games to help avoid star players getting hurt in meaningless games? The Domino’s That’s Hockey panel has more.

  1. Very poor production.
Just for clics opinion from someone who never played.
They just got it so wrong. All those years of Hayes calling the Leafs soft .. and he criticizes 'Reaves' for doing what he is paid to do. Ya if this was Reaves, Hayes would be calling him a Hero. Cannot understand why he is on.

  2. Parros and the entire DOPS needs to be fired and then hire an entire new staff , this league is a joke.
Get rid of Bettman while your at it too , he is old as dirt and a Canada basher!

  3. What an absolute clown show that panel guy is , the dude should watch the hit before going on tv and talking about it🤡

  4. the only thing that hit stutzles head was his stick…. grandpa needs to calm down.

  5. So… Paré, a scrub who will never play NHL games, taking out Laine, even accidentally, is not a problem. Ridley Greig head hunting Kirby Dach, albeit missing, is not a problem. But Xhekaj seeking retribution, then delivering a similar hit to Stutzle, where the head is not hit, is predatory and should be suspended ? Double standards much ? How about the Leafs had benched Cédric Paré ? Maybe then Habs will bench their roster defenseman Xhekaj…

  6. Toronto Sports Network has turned this into a parody account at this point. Xhekaj is a scrub? Good old Homer Haze working overtime again, no clue. Maybe go watch a game in a real arena, not the snooze-inducing Air Canada centre. Arber would be the perfect tonic to bring some life into the joint. Remember Xhekaj putting a wrister through the net? Or his 107mph hardest shot in the AHL all star game skills comp? Nah. Never any valid opinion on other players because if it didn't involve his team he isn't aware of it. IT WAS 4-1! Also, Paul Byron says hi from Montreal.

  7. TSN keeps saying Xhekaj hit Stutzle in the head, no he didnt, he hit him late, i will give u that, because that's a fact, it was Stutzle's own stick that caught him. Get ur facts right TSN…

  8. Preseason games shouldn’t be played against rivals. Sure, it puts butts in the seats, but it also motivates coaches to put goons in their lineups.

  9. wow pare got away with a suspension x will always protect his midgets ps dont worry guys the refs dont like mtl we always get the most pentalies

  10. this is why no one cares about TSN anymore…I feel guilty clicking on this garbage video

  11. Blame Ridley for not wanting to fight and turtled. The code is that if you don't fight then the opposing team will go after your star players. Easy to understand. Arber did the right thing

  12. Funny the way they refer to Xhekaj like he isn’t twice the hockey player Reaves is. Embarrassing to watch how hypocritical these Toronto homers are.

  13. Bias bias more toronto bias. You guys do realize the teams decide what lineup to start on any given night. AKA they don't have to dress there best players its up to them its there own fault! They do have the control you are over analyzing and being whiners as usual toronto media does.

  14. What about these nobody's throwing late predatory hits on stars, they have to answer the bell , they don't so this happens.

  15. lol. Fringe? Wifi is a regular. Fringe is most of the leafs bottom 6 forwards plus their dinosaur Reeves. 😂😂

  16. I can't even listen to TSN announcers call the play by play, It's impossible for them to hide who their home team is.

  17. Arber Xhekaj is not just some scrub. He seriously should be considered as a higher level than he is simply for his presence on the ice. What he brings is elite in its own right. Its not buffoonery on ice like some guys. The hits are still not good but it should be said that this player is a heartbeat for a team and not some dirty scumbag.

  18. Stutzle hit himself with his own stick. That was a body check. And Xhekaij is not making name for himself. He already had. Geno don’t know what he saying. Effing bum

  19. Toronto Sports Network in fine form. I don't know what is worse Rogers Sportsnet or Toronto Sports Network. They both suck, but hey we are Canadian everyone has a monopoly on what we are forced to watch, sports included.
