The Nashville Predators defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 6-4 in a preseason game that saw goals from Juuso Pärssinen, Jonathan Marchessault, Gustav Nyquist, and two defensemen not named Roman Josi. VGK fan here, it kinda hurts to see Marchy already shining for your Preds even though it’s just preseason. He will be sorely missed over here and great pick-up for Nashville!!!
Is juuso likely to play at C or on the wing?
Im glad we still have 2 preseason games left, the potential is palpable all over the ice but the guys are clearly still getting used to new teammates and new setups. The powerplay looks awkward, and Im sure they will be absolutely deadly, but thats a big heavy train that needs some time to get their momentum going before then. Marchessault was super impressive to me, I think he absolutely will push for 40+ goals again
Thanks for the insight on Wedgewood. I know it’s “just the preseason”, but he’s giving up a ton of goals to guys that might not even be in the NHL next week. My concern was either, is it Wedgewood playing poorly, or is he being overworked because the defense isn’t holding up well. I just see Dallas on the horizon and it’s got my nerves up!
