This coming season, the Ottawa Senators will finish last in the Atlantic Division with a record of 1-72-9 and then fire both team president of hockey operations and GM Steve Staios and head coach Travis Green at season’s end. On April 14, 2025, Michael Andlauer and Anna and Olivia Melnyk will sell the Senators to a Hartford-based group headed by hedge fund managers Ray Dalio and Todd Boehly for $1.75 billion, including a relocation fee of $195 million to relocate the Senators to Hartford. On April 17, 2025, the NHL Board of Governors will approve both the sale and relocation of the Senators to Hartford in a 30-2 vote, so after calling Ottawa home for 33 years, the Senators will relocate to Hartford to become the Hartford Whalers and play at the XL Center in the 2025-26 NHL season.

Flyers have draft capital to make a big trade. I know 2 of them will likely be late 20s but the Flyers do have 3 1st rounders along with #34 and 35 and around 45 as well.

Zegras trade rumors only come from outside the ducks camp. Ducks management, coaches, and teammates all have nothing but glowing things to say about him. He’s gonna be a staple here he just has a lot to clean up before getting a big long term contract

What would trading zegras even do for Anaheim? Nobody is going to give up some better than z that fits the ducks window in a trade. Verbeek has said he’s ready to push forward so seeking him for picks is pretty stupid
The biggest concern for the Red Wings is something people always seem to fail to mention the fact that they had a league high by far goals scored above expected which masked many of their flaws and wont be replicated. Detroit is the only team in NHL history yo be top 3 in shooting percentage and miss the playoffs
My bold prediction: Bruins lack of Center depth and goalie situation will finally catch up to them and they miss the playoffs due to a stacked Atlantic Division.
Bold take: If the Hawks stay healthy, Bedard scores 100+ points
all of the philly media groups were convinced zegras was a lock on coming to philly. we are looking for young talent, we need a center who can if need be play wing, because coots health is a big what if and will frost take that next step? also we traded crybaby cutter for his best friend in drysdale. we also need talent to build with michkov. all the pieces seemed to fit but a deal was never made. theres also questions with that like can he play defense in a 200 ft game. will he survive torts. because michkov was already doing Michigan's in practice and he looked like he was gonna blow a gasket. it will certainly make the team interesting.
Luchanko is better than you think. Mgmnt, coaches, players, fans blown away by this camp. Former Ducks GM Bob Murray is a senior adv to Briere. He played a role in the Drysdale move. If he advocates for Zegras, I'd think it could happen. Question is how coachable is Zegras? Will he put in the effort to be a 200' C?
Even if his D at the pivot is lacking, the could be a huge skill upgrade at LW. Great vid. Thanks!
Zegras is going to pop off this season. Just wait and see. He's got the offensive skillset and ability to terrorize defenses and tenders. He just needs to get his brain to comprehend it.
Side note: I'd love to see him on the Flyers, Redwings, Penguins or SLC.

Buddy, once again, you don't seem to understand the meaning of a BOLD take. The Habs example, why would you spend 5 minutes explaining why it's not gonna happen (habs making the playoffs). Bud, ITS THE POINT OF A BOLD TAKE, SOMETHING THAT NO ONE IS GONNA SEE COMING. Instead, you should rate the boldness of the prediction. Because if it does happen, then you look foolish.
