Gotta wonder what the play is here. I 100% get having a Vet in the Press Box over a Young Prospect who will develop better playing minutes in the AHL, but are they hoping to flip him for value at the Deadline OR are they looking for the veteran depth so they can move out another key piece between now and the deadline, like HINT: Andersson
Short term contract is perfect given either Brzustewicz or Poirier should be ready by next season…
I don’t see Barrie as being a Pachal replacement. We need that gritty, physical, defence first player in Pachal, who showed better speed and offensive awareness & ability this pre-season too
