I heard 3 names the entire night. Where was the rest of the team? We played sloppy tonight and the sharks were playing better for once imo. Let’s hope they’re just saving it for next week.

I was there, I think 2 of the 4 in the third were with the goddamn goalie pulled. It was annoying.
I did however get the “Hertl on a Turtle” pin.

So I know that was a godawful choke, but don’t read into that in the preseason. If anything, be glad it happened now, because that should rattle the boys into not letting that happen when it will matter. Saw lots of good tonight with a Scoreofeyev 🎩, glad to see Holtz get one, Hertl has been EXCELLENT so far this preseason, and that certainly continued tonight, and overall, I think you’re getting enough contribution from guys that are below the top-6 that this team easily can have a nice set of lines that can be relied on throughout the season.
The laziness we saw tonight I think was a product of the preseason, and maybe an effort to not risk injury in a meaningless game, as after all we saw Doughty get that serious month-to-month ailment against us… rather not play too hard when it doesn’t really matter.
Lots of good tonight, certainly some not so good stuff too, but when mixing it with the whole preseason, I say Vegas has themselves a solid team once again this season!
Now, bring on the Avs, let’s get this season started right!

Better the get this shit out of the way now then during the season. Shit happens, better to learn from it now than later. We’ll be fine if we play like how we did for 90% of the game
