We looked fast, we laid hits, we sat in front of the net, we chased the puck around the rink, we took shots on the PP rather than just passed it around like last year, HYPE! 1 game and this team looks so different than last year already! Doing everything we did not do last year.
Now THAT is what I’m talking about! Outside of taking more penalties than I would’ve liked, they looked like an actual team playing to an actually good structure! Loved the intensity and guys willing to get physical when needed. They played hard and got what they earned.
