I would’ve said Brannstrom is better than Forbort, but I guess Alvin says otherwise.

This really shouldn’t be surprising. It’s the end of camp and he hasn’t learned any systems, he’s a depth defender at best and the team committed in day one of UFA to having the HH pair and four Ents on defence as the defensive strategy.

He can join Canucks legend Mike McKenna for shortest tenure

Win win situation. If he gets claimed we get cap space. If he clears we get depth D

This is a mistake. He is a super effective in 3rd pairing deployment

Damn he turned into a 93 overall in my NHL 22 franchise.

Chef Allvin is slow simmering a tasty stew with the accrued cap space. It may take some time, but something down the road is going to taste mighty delicious.

Lol if Colorado claims him off waivers for fun

does this mean no one else will be waived?

  10. Brannstrom was a star for team Sweden at the world juniors and a 1st round draft pick, taken 10 picks after Pettersson. At the time it seemed like he was destined for stardom in the NHL too.

For now I don’t see a reality where brannstrom doesn’t get claimed. By far the best player on waivers this year
