There is a couple episodes (5+6) in this new NHL documentary on Amazon that was supposed to film their “legendary cup run” and needless to say it didn’t go the way they wanted… but they got some unreal footage, I actually almost felt bad for them.. it’s a good watch no doubt

I hate the Oilers as much as anybody else, and I’m glad they didn’t win. But I also remember 2004 like it was yesterday. I couldn’t laugh at somebody going through that.
Being a bad sport is also bad karma. Don’t give Oilers fans a reason to come rub it in our faces if they end up winning a cup – a very real possibility.

This post is cringe as fuck. It’s one thing to cheer against your rival team it’s another to wish them ill in their personal lives. That’s a fucked up thing to do. It’s just a game.
I always want the Flames to win and Oilers to lose, but I hope every player on the Oilers roster leads a happy life outside of the sport.
