I'm happy for Lavoie getting a shot at the NHL level, but can they please stop losing prospects? And WHY did it have to be Vegas?
Losing a high draft pick such as Lavoie may have been bad luck but it was also a case of poor forsight. The Oilers mgmt. had several months to figure out their various scenarios and should have at the very least tried to trade Lavoie for a sensible draft pick instead of waiting until it was too late. What a waste!
