Everyone ready for another heartbreaking season?
I'm really surprised to see McMann sitting out. Yeah sure Lorentz was a wrecking ball is pre-season, but McMann was a rock solid player last year. He objectively outplayed Lorentz, Holberg, and even Pacioretty last year.
i predict a 10-0-0 start to the season.

Pacioretty scored nearly a point per game clip a few years ago (2020-21) at a 40-goal pace. It was a good signing. But he’s an injury concern. But an excellent signing if he stays healthy.

Maole Laffs? This is a team that signs Domi to a 4 year contract for around 5 million a year? Domi has played with 8 teams in 11 years, yes 8 teams in 11 years, and never made even close to that amount once. WHY? There were no challengers, why would there be? We will never win with Tavares and Marner. Why havent they been traded yet? Unacceptable to keep running the same team back over and over.

I dont think Easton Cowan is too high for a tier 2 prospsect, id argue hes 1. Chl player of the year, and you had Nylander and Marner in tier 2 for their respective rankings and obviously turned into franchise players i think a tier 1 porpsect doesnt have to be a franchise corner stone

Domi is best with Matthews. It is a waste of Marner bc Domi can do a decent imitation of Marner as we saw last 20 games of last season. Get Marner to turn Robertson and Tavares into 30 goal scorers.
Then give Nylander room to operate as the lone star on his line with McMann and Patches/Jarny, or Homberg if he needs a cente. Lorentz Kamf Jarny is an amazing 4th line.
The Leafs have never needed to go into overage in order to beat the Leafs
