[Barden] The Maple Leafs have announced their opening-day roster. Connor Dewar and Fraser Minten begin the season on IR, while Jani Hakanpaa, Calle Jarnkrok, and Dakota Mermis begin the year on LTIR.
Have to be happy with this – we’d be debating for weeks who we’d have to give up and ultimately we keep basically everyone.

This is why Brandon Pridham gets paid so much. Of course, if the front office didn’t give out so many bad contracts he wouldn’t have to work so hard, but I bet he’s not complaining 🙂

Knies having almost 50lbs on Marner is crazy.
Marner is 4in taller than Nicky and the same weight.

Do I agree with everything? No, but I like Berube and trust him until he gives us a reason not to. I’m pretty surprised to see Timmins in the opening night lineup as well as McMann sitting.

Honestly not bagging on Dubas but it’s honestly refreshing to finally see some mutants on the team. Hockey is and always will be a big boy sport. You can have some small crafty guys…. But you need some men to play in the NHL.
