Santini – Behind The Scenes At The SMS Santini Factory

Steeped in cycling history, Santini have made some of the most iconic jerseys in cycling. We were lucky enough to be shown around the company’s Italian HQ.

Handmade in Italy since 1965 and proud of the care and attention to detail that goes into each and every single pair of bib shorts and jerseys – including the GCN kit of course. With the design studio overlooking the factory floor, and many of the staff at Santini having worked with the company for years it really is a family affair.

Providing teams from the local cycling club to the Belkin Pro Cycling Team, the Giro d’Italia jerseys and the rainbow stripes for the UCI, Santini has grown from founder Pietro Santini’s passion for cycling at every level.

  1. they produce great clothing's (my best fitting bib-shorts are Santinis) – and as we see here, have two beautiful and likable ladies in the management 🙂

  2. Fantastic. Only thing it would be easier to read the subtitles if there was a black contrast behind the white text.

  3. Castelli is not manufactured in Italy, however their quality, attention to detail and exquisite design are undeniably good. Santini are the same and yes, they have also that little tag that reads Made in Italy. It's the equivalent of wearing Armani for the bike.

  4. Thats pitty that You have left Santini and changed the brand. Its supreme quality and Italian origins wont be forgotten 🙁

  5. santini fit is so much better than other brands. imo. price quality ratio is great too
