It's 2 games guys. If he does pan out as a second or third line center Habs will be deep at center for the first time since 93. Even 70's.

as a habs fan i've never been more excited, we needed to have our first true rebuild in franchise history and i think it's going to pay off handsomely.

You forgot about Kapanen who is a center, but has made the team this season. he will be slotted into games on the wing with Dvorak until the trade deadline (unless there is an injury at center) He will be the 3rd line center 25-26 with Beck on the 4th line.

You kinda expect 1st rounder to outplay those semi-pro leagues. He probably needs to play a year in laval Rocket to forge his defensive play. Kinda common from late 1st rounder offensive pick lacking defensive game. It's why they're usually drafted later in 1st round. He seems to have character and willing to bring some drive into his game we'll see what happens with him. Although I doubt he will be able to consistantly dekes at NHL level. He will have to simolify his game and prolly a a mid center (3rd, 2nd at best).
look at his points curve of last year. He was ranked 2nd in points production for the last 25 games within all draft eligible players for 2024 draft, including Celebrini, Sennekke, etc. The 1st point producer for the last 25 games was Demidov. Hage was greatly affected by his dads passing and I think he will be most likely a 2nd line player
