i really like the Lorentz signing, I'm an old fart, i remember the Leaf's of 93, they had arguably the best bottom 6 in the league, Zezel,Foligno,Krushelniski,Eastwood,Berg,Osborne, Baumgartner was used as well, you need these bangers (not fighters) just lunch pail type players to do the dirty work, so i am liking what I've seen out of Lorentz so far. Hope it works out
Roy has been horrible for Habs during this preseason.
Roy had a pretty mid camp. Heineman, Barré-Boulet and Kapanen were much more constant.

I thought Cristall had a really good preseason. Not a capitals fan but was just impressed with him whenever I watched
Roy is talented but had a bad camp…maybe riding the bus instead of the PJ will wake him up he'll be up soon.
Why does it feel like no teams are giving young guys a chance except the flyers
Joshua Roy had a terrible camp and preseason. Kind of played like he had a guaranteed spot while Heineman, Kapanen and ABB way out worked and out played him.

The Senators did not claim a defenseman off waivers. They're just not going to rush Yakemchuck. I look forward to seeing him in the World junior tournament.

I'm happy for Watson, he knows very well what his abilities are at this level and he comes across as a nice level headed dude who knows his limitations and just tries do bring what the team needs. 👍

If he can stay healthy, Pacioretty is a great signing for the Leafs at a bargain price. Can't understand the lack of enthusiasm in the comments section about this . By contrast, Lorentz adds nothing- he has been invisible in every bottom 6 role he's had with the masny other teams he's been dealt to
